Aruba vs United States Virgin Islands: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Aruba
- United States Virgin Islands
How they compare
Aruba currently reports 0.0013 Mt CO2e against 0.001 Mt CO2e in United States Virgin Islands, a difference of 0.0003 Mt CO2e.
That makes Aruba's figure about 1.3 times United States Virgin Islands's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Aruba ahead.
Globally, Aruba ranks 185th and United States Virgin Islands ranks 187th of 203 countries.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
